A memorial cruise, 3D movie to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Titanic

It’s been a hundred years since the Titanic sank and to commemorate, a 12-night memorial cruise aboard the MS Balmoral will retrace the route of Titanic’s maiden voyage in April 1912.  Passengers can relive the Titanic experience (minus the disaster) while dressed in period costumes, eating meals from the Titanic’s menu, and with music from that era.

Those who can’t join the cruise can go to the theaters to catch the re-formatted version of the movie in 3D.   Watch it again for the nostalgia and for the added “depth”. Director James Cameron made just one teeny change in the movie, after the incessant lobbying of an astrophysicist who said that he noticed in one scene that the left half of the sky was a reflection of the right half. Cameron acknowledged this made the necessary changes.
